DOCUMENT OUTLINE
Confidence Before Every Moment
BOLDENCE™ is operated by L.C.O. Solutions Inc. (“BOLDENCE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information when you use the BOLDENCE™ mobile application, BOLDENCE-operated websites, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).
BOLDENCE™ is a technology-assisted preparation and personal presence platform designed to help individuals prepare for meaningful occasions and situations, which we refer to as “Moments.” Depending on the features you use, the Services may analyze images you choose to provide, event context, preferences and other information you submit to generate personalized guidance and recommendations.
BOLDENCE™ provides assistance rather than guaranteed personal, professional or social outcomes. This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites and services.
2.1 Account Information
When you create or maintain an account, we may collect your name or display name, email address, account identifier, authentication information, account settings, preferences and account activity information. If you sign in using Google or Apple, we may receive information made available by that provider, such as your name, email address or authentication identifier.
We do not require a government identification number, Social Security number or similar identifier for ordinary use of the Services. Please do not submit such information unless specifically requested for a lawful purpose.
2.2 Images and User Content
When you use an image-based feature, we process photographs you select from your device or capture using your device camera. Images may show clothing, accessories, appearance, surroundings, faces or other visible characteristics. You should avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
BOLDENCE™ does not require unrestricted access to your entire photo library for ordinary analysis. We intend to process only the images you affirmatively select or capture, subject to device permissions and operating-system functionality. Restricting camera or photo permissions may limit relevant features.
2.3 Moment, Context and Preference Information
We may collect information about the Moment for which you are preparing, including event type (such as an interview, presentation, date, professional gathering, wedding or formal event), setting, dress expectations, time, general location context, goals, preferences and custom instructions.
Custom Moments are treated as private user content and are not automatically displayed to other BOLDENCE™ users.
2.4 Demographic and Regional Information
Depending on a feature, we may request age range, country or region, gender when voluntarily provided, and related contextual preferences where relevant to requested guidance. We seek to limit such information to what is reasonably necessary. We do not use it to decide eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance or similarly significant benefits.
2.5 AI-Generated Results and Inferences
The Services may generate observations, classifications, assessments, scores, descriptions or recommendations concerning outfit coordination, visual presentation, event appropriateness and preparation. When linked or reasonably linkable to your account, these outputs are treated as personal information.
2.6 Subscription and Transaction Information
If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, Apple, Google or another authorized provider may process your payment. We may receive transaction identifiers, products or plans, purchase and renewal dates, subscription status and entitlement information needed to administer access. We do not ordinarily receive or store complete payment-card numbers for purchases handled by third-party payment providers.
2.7 Device, Usage and Diagnostic Information
We may process IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, language, access timestamps, feature interactions, crash reports, diagnostic events and security logs to operate, troubleshoot, secure and improve the Services. IP addresses may indicate approximate location. We do not require precise GPS location for ordinary preparation features; any future feature requiring it will request applicable permissions.
2.8 Communications
If you contact support or communicate with us, we may retain your contact information, correspondence and records reasonably necessary to address your request.
2.9 Website Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our websites may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools or similar technologies for essential operation, security, preferences, performance and analytics. Where legally required, we will provide appropriate consent or opt-out controls for non-essential technologies. Specific technologies may also be explained in a cookie notice or consent interface.
We process personal information to create and authenticate accounts; deliver and personalize preparation guidance; analyze user-selected images and Moment information; maintain saved history where supported; administer subscriptions; provide support; operate, secure and troubleshoot the Services; understand aggregate performance; detect fraud or abuse; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to a person to understand and improve the Services, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell private uploaded photographs, Moment descriptions or individualized AI-generated results to data brokers. We do not authorize third-party providers to use private BOLDENCE™ inputs for general-purpose model training on our behalf without appropriate notice and any consent required by law.
Certain features use third-party artificial intelligence services. To deliver a requested feature, we may transmit a selected image, relevant Moment context, preferences, limited demographic or regional information where relevant, and other reasonably necessary inputs.
We seek to avoid including names, email addresses, authentication credentials and unnecessary account identifiers in AI requests. However, text or images you voluntarily submit may themselves reveal identifying information to the provider.
4.1 OpenAI Processing
BOLDENCE™ uses technology provided through the OpenAI API for certain features. Under OpenAI’s published API data practices, API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the API customer opts into data sharing for model improvement. OpenAI may retain certain information for abuse monitoring and service operation under its applicable terms and retention policies. Standard abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days by default, subject to applicable exceptions; some API features may retain application state according to their configuration.
The exact retention applicable to a request may depend on the endpoints, settings and processing services used. We may change or supplement AI providers and will update notices when legally required.
4.2 AI Limitations
AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, subjective or unsuitable for a particular situation. BOLDENCE™ does not guarantee confidence, hiring results, social approval or other outcomes. Users decide whether and how to apply recommendations.
Uploaded photographs may contain a face or visible physical characteristics. BOLDENCE™ is not designed to identify or authenticate individuals through facial geometry, fingerprints, voiceprints, iris scans or similar biometric identifiers, and we do not create biometric identity templates for identification or authentication. We do not use images to determine who a person is.
If a future feature materially changes these practices, we will update our notices and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
Images may incidentally reveal information considered sensitive in some jurisdictions, including racial or ethnic origin, religious expression or clothing, health-related characteristics or other protected information.
BOLDENCE™ does not intentionally infer or profile users based on race, religion, sexual orientation, health status or similar protected traits unrelated to requested preparation guidance. We do not use results to determine eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance or other similarly significant decisions.
Where a future feature involves additional processing of legally defined sensitive information, we will provide required notices and obtain consent where applicable. Please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the Services, including cloud hosting, database, authentication and storage providers; AI processors; security and error-monitoring services; subscription and entitlement providers; application marketplaces and payment providers; communications and customer-support services; and professional advisers.
Depending on the feature and platform, our technology environment may include Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Sentry, Brevo, Apple and Google. The information each provider receives depends on the applicable integration. We seek appropriate contractual, confidentiality and security safeguards for provider processing.
We may also disclose information to comply with valid legal process, investigate misuse, protect rights and safety, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, or facilitate a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or business sale, subject to law.
Private user images, Moments and results are not made public merely because they are submitted to the Services.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, maintain security, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Actual periods vary by data category and system.
Account information is generally retained while the account remains active. Images a user elects to save may remain in account history until deleted through available controls or account deletion. Images intended only for temporary processing may be removed from active BOLDENCE™ storage after processing, while limited copies can remain temporarily in queues, backups, logs or provider systems.
Saved AI results, usage logs and subscription records may be retained for functionality, support, security, transactions and legal compliance. Independently maintained records at Apple, Google or other third parties follow those providers’ policies.
Account deletion is described in Section 11. Removal from BOLDENCE™-controlled systems does not automatically erase independent third-party records or backup copies awaiting normal expiration.
We use reasonable administrative, organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse and loss. Depending on the system, these may include access controls, authentication, encrypted transmission, encryption at rest where appropriate, restricted administration and security monitoring.
No application, network, database or transmission method is completely secure; absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Please protect account credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of personal information, withdraw consent where relevant, object to or restrict certain processing, learn more about our practices, or appeal an eligible privacy decision.
You may be able to update account information within the Services and manage camera or photo permissions through your device settings. We may verify identity before fulfilling certain requests and will respond within applicable legal time limits. Where required, authorized agents may submit eligible requests.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Contact details appear in Section 17.
You may request account deletion through in-app account settings or an available website account-deletion mechanism. Uninstalling the application does not, by itself, delete your account.
11.1 Deactivation and Grace Period
Under the planned BOLDENCE™ deletion workflow, a valid request deactivates the account and prevents normal login. Associated user-linked information is held in a restricted state during a 30-day grace period, rather than erased immediately.
11.2 Permanent Deletion
After that period, the scheduled workflow is intended to delete the authentication identity, profile, saved results and history, custom Moments, account-linked usage records, uploaded image files in active BOLDENCE™ storage, and BOLDENCE™-held subscription or transaction records where applicable. Connected subscription-management profiles are also intended to be deleted where supported and appropriate.
Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security systems or service-provider environments or where law requires or permits retention. Apple, Google and other independent third parties may maintain separate records under their own terms.
11.3 Subscription Cancellation
Account deletion does not necessarily cancel an active subscription billed by Apple, Google or another provider. To avoid future charges, cancel through the applicable subscription-management mechanism.
11.4 Additional Requests
For deletion questions or additional privacy requests, contact us using Section 17.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights to know, access, correct or delete information; obtain portability; limit certain sensitive-information uses; opt out of legally defined sales, sharing or targeted advertising; use an authorized agent; and appeal eligible decisions, depending on applicable law.
We do not sell private uploaded photographs, private Moment descriptions or private AI-generated results to data brokers. Whether another disclosure meets a statutory definition of “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising” depends on actual processing; we will provide applicable notices and choices where required.
Submit requests, including a “Privacy Rights Appeal,” through the contact in Section 17. We may voluntarily extend controls beyond those strictly required by law.
BOLDENCE™ is intended for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from individuals under 18 through the consumer Services. If we learn that an underage person has provided information contrary to this Policy, we may terminate the account and delete information as appropriate and legally required. Parents or guardians may contact us using Section 17.
The Services may link to websites, app marketplaces or other third-party services. Their independent information practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before sharing information with third parties.
BOLDENCE™ is operated by a company based in the United States. Personal information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. Laws and protections differ by jurisdiction. Where legally required, we will implement applicable transfer safeguards, notices and rights. Not all features are necessarily offered in every location.
We may update this Policy as our features, data-processing practices, providers or applicable laws change. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last Updated” date. For material changes affecting previously collected information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when legally required.
